The Studyable Method
At Studyable, your needs are our priority. That's why we tailor every lesson to you. This method enables us to create a course that aligns with your objectives, while also considering your strengths and weaknesses. This approach guarantees rapid and efficient progress, accommodating both new and advanced learners alike.
Our Approach
-
Our free taster class offers an introduction to Studyable and an opportunity to let us to get to know you a little better.
These classes provide a fantastic chance for you to get an idea of our teaching style.
These sessions are usually around 30 minutes long.
-
Once we have assessed your existing skills in the taster class, we will then write your future classes based upon both your interests and learning needs.
This means that the classes you take with us will predominantly be based upon subjects you are not only interested in, but look forward to exploring. This method is incredibly useful with students of all ages as it ensures a constant interest in lessons regardless of the more technical aspects of English a class is exploring.
-
We believe that the English Language goes beyond the school textbook and should encourage the growth of related skills. So wherever possible, we integrate other vital communication skills into your classes such as confidence building, presentation skills, creativity, body language and improvisation.
By working on these vital skills alongside traditional English learning topics, such as vocabulary and grammar. Studyable has seen enormous and rapid leaps in student abilities. From their confidence and fluency when giving presentations, to their creativity when describing an image or leading a conversation on a new topic.
At Studyable we also emphasise the importance of learning outside of lessons. And whilst homework can be a useful tool, we place far greater emphasis on our ethos of language immersion. Actively encouraging students to surround themselves with English wherever possible, and providing recommendations of English content such as TV series, podcasts, books and movies we believe you will enjoy based upon your personal tastes and current comprehension of English.
